REDWOOD RESILIENCE

Workshops for groups

Redwood trees show us that being connected and helping each other strengthens the grove.

Doing a mindful writing workshop is a healthy outlet for your “grove” (group) to refresh connection, reduce stress, and increase strength. Your group may be professional, community, interest, family, friends, or any other way you define a group!

Whatever your group and whatever your needs, I will custom-design a mindful writing workshop to meet them.

Why do groups do mindful writing workshops?

Some groups want a self-care activity to increase calm for their members.

Others are looking for healthy outlets to ignite clarity for problem-solving.

Still, others want to enhance wellness and connection among group members.

Here’s how we do it:

We’ll chat about the needs of your group.

I’ll design and deliver a writing workshop based on those needs.

I’ll guide your group through gentle calming activities and powerful writing prompts to reveal deep thoughts.

Group members will identify their priorities.

We’ll have a Q&A for group members to share (optional)

And a few more things:

  • I offer the workshops online and in person.

  • Zero experience in mindful writing is required.

  • I’d love to discuss your ideas.

We can also set up a discount for your members to access Write To The Root, my signature workshop series. Your members will love it! This will give them 24/7 access to a super supportive addition to the professional benefits you offer.

Benefitting from the power of mindful writing!

FAQs mindful writing for groups

  • No experience is required. As long as group members can use a pen and embrace new ideas, you’re good to go!

  • The workshops can be profound and useful for anyone who wants to gain a calm and clear mind. The workshops offer strategies for digging deep into your mind to reveal truths that are sometimes hidden. Knowledge of these truths can lead to increased clarity and self-awareness needed to make important decisions.

  • Absolutely! That’s why we chat first. We’ll have a conversation about what you are thinking and then target what will be best for your group.

  • No. You will keep your writing private in order to be honest with yourself.

  • Group workshops are immersive experiences where you will be focused on the words and sentences of your writing. We don’t want to disrupt your members’ newly gained calm and clarity, so we will save optional questions and comments until the end of the workshop.

  • Everyone will need a writing book and a pen or pencil. No worries, I will send you a blurb with all the details about the workshop that you can send out to your members.

  • My workshops are designed with adults in mind (aged 18+); however, I can design an appropriate workshop for younger people as long as they can participate as required.

  • Sure, as long as they have an Internet connection and their space is quiet, allowing them to immerse themselves in the workshop.
